One of my earliest memories is of reading the Little Red Riding Hood when I was in Primary One. I love reading. I don’t remember what got me started.Books were and are a portal to another dimension, another time, another culture. A good book is indeed a secret door to a world of wonder and awe, adventures in prehistoric landscapes, raging crusades, journeys along the silk road. Endless possibilities.Sadly, I am unable to read as much as I used to, or as much as I would like. But those stories have not left me.

This TED Talk reminds me of those wonders. I could not agree with Mac more. A good book, is a secret door. 😀
